Changing senior public health leaders working practices.

Brief

Public Health Warwickshire wanted to learn more about how they could support commissioners in evidence-based practice.

  • We conducted a behavioural analysis of the barriers to embedding behaviour change evidence within the commissioning process.

  • We included public health commissioners, public health officers and also service providers to help understand different perspectives and experiences of commissioning and developing preventative health services.

  • We provided detailed recommendations for supporting change at multiple levels within service commissioning system.
